Lindsay Lohan simply can’t hide the animosity she has toward Cody Simpson … and it seems she doesn’t think much of Miley Cyrus either.
Lindsay’s beef with Miley’s new man apparently stems from his time dating her sister, Aliana. She shared a photo of Cody with Ali Monday night, writing … “When you realise you failed. And you settle for less.”
She added … “family is everything you won the masked singer but you lost on your future.”
So, yeah … shots definitely fired in Miley’s direction, even though Lindsay tried to take them back by deleting the post.
Lohan first revealed her issues with Simpson on Australia’s inaugural season of “The Masked Singer” — she’s one of the judges — as she guessed the masked man in the Robot costume was Cody.
Turns out she was right, but before he was unmasked Lindsay dished the dirt, saying … “If it is you, we have a lot to talk about, and this is not the arena for it. I want my furniture back! Because I bought your furniture for your house in Venice!”
The crowd and the other judges loved the drama, but Cody got the last laugh by being crowned the winner … even though Lindsay thinks he’s still taking the L.
As for Lohan’s furniture claim … her fellow ‘Masked Singer’ judge, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, says Lindsay told her she furnished Ali and Cody’s new place in Venice Beach back when they were dating in 2018.
Shortly after, Cody broke up with Ali and they moved out of the pad … and apparently, Lindsay never got her stuff back. It’s unclear if Cody even knew what she was talking about … because he was still in the Robot suit.
Update according to TMZ.com
11:30 AM PT — As for the furniture dig on “The Masked Singer” … our Lohan source says it was nothing more than an inside joke. We’re told LiLo and Simpson are on good terms … they’ve even chatted about music since the show’s finale.
9:49 AM PT — A source close to Lindsay says the post was not directed at Miley — Lohan loves Miley — but was only a shot at Simpson and his former relationship with Aliana.
I’ve went and replace the first episode with 1080p. We now have episodes 1-4 of Lindsay judging on the Australian version of The Masked Singer. Enjoy the captures.
Lindsay Lohan will not be returning for season two of The Masked Singer Australia, according to a report by New Idea.
Channel 10 is supposedly ‘replacing’ her as a celebrity judge on the show due to her ‘tricky demands’ behind the scenes.
‘[Lindsay] was tricky with demands and had a complete lack of respect for time schedules,’ said an unnamed TV insider.
Lindsay, 33, will apparently be replaced on the panel by Australian singer Kate Ceberano, who is rumoured to be The Lion on this year’s season.
Channel 10 is yet to confirm a second season of The Masked Singer and has not made any statement about the judging panel.
Speaking on the Kyle and Jackie O Show last week, Lindsay denied reports she was a ‘diva’ on set and said people were just digging for ‘negativity’.
‘People want to find the negative for no reason. There was nothing negative about [filming The Masked Singer],’ she said.
Radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, who is also a judge on The Masked Singer, added that production was ‘the best experience’ and ‘so much fun’.
However, former Masked Singer contestant Wendell Sailor has stated publicly that Lindsay’s long breaks disrupted production. ‘About a minute before I had to perform, they said, “Lindsay’s hungry, she’s going to have a break.” It was like an hour break! We were there for a while,’ Wendell said on KIIS FM last week.
The retired rugby player, 45, explained he was forced to wait in his dressing room during Lindsay’s break because he wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone on set.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel 10 and Lindsay for comment.
After the failure of her MTV reality series “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club,” it seems like Lohan is hatching another TV project.
In an interview on Australia’s “Studio 10” this week, Lohan revealed that she’s “writing a TV series that will come out in America. Almost like a reality show, but not a reality show.” (She’s currently Down Under filming “The Masked Singer.”)
Lohan went on to say that she will play at “kind of being a puppet master,” and will star in the series with her siblings.
Page Six exclusively reported in June that Lohan had lost her show and the Mykonos, Greece, nightclub on which it was based.
Sources told us at the time that the show didn’t have “enough drama.”
